I'm getting a tad bit annoyed with this, so I'm going to make a journal explaining "Beginner", "Intermediate" and "Professional" since I'm getting some folks submitting into the wrong folders. I love to fix errors and move them, but I don't always have the time. So please help me by submitting to the right folder! Thanks!

Now for the explanations:

Where does it go?: Not sure where to place your art? Post it here and I'll move it. Less annoying than placing it in the wrong folder.

Beginner: New to art and it's rules. We don't allow stick people art, but we allow folks who try to attempt to draw a LOZ character. Little knowledge of anatomy, coloring, perspective, etc.

Intermediate: Have been drawing for years. Better grasp of anatomy, coloring, perspective compared to Beginners. This encompasses a LOT of people since it can be anywhere between Beginner-Intermediate, Intermediate, or Intermediate-Professional. For example, I consider myself as an Intermediate-Professional since I still have a lot to learn myself. I'm not like the famous artists on DA.

Professional: Immense knowledge on anatomy, coloring, perspective, lighting, etc. These artists have been drawing for years, developed their own styles and inspire others to draw. Artworks submitted here will also be based on the rest of your gallery. Do not be discouraged or upset if we moved your file to a lower level; we just think there are some improvements you need to make.

With that being said, please don't fight me because I moved your file to somewhere else; I just think there are some improvements you could have made and if you need me to explain that, I will. :) Also please submit to the right folder; I'm the only active administrator here and I have my own projects I need to work on. The Fans of Zelda group is just to make a general Zelda group and sometimes I take some of the artworks here and run it on my friend's Legend of Zelda social media accounts ( linkshideaway.com ).

Thanks and please be patient with me.

Hi. Izagar here. Just letting you know, the one week submission is because I don't want to spam watchers notifications and I also don't want to deal with accepting 10+ works from a single person. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR BEST OR MOST RECENT WORKS YOU ARE PROUD OF. Thanks!

Have a nice day!
I need an active user to help be a contributor and help me vote on things to allow them into the group. Something came up with DravidFeryl, so he is no longer able to vote on things right now and I'm trying to at least visit DA a couple times a day. So in the (unlikely) event we somehow get super popular quickly, I'll need someone to help vote works in.

All you need to know how to run this group:

Featured: Admins pick this only.

Where Does it Go?: Some people maybe confused on where their art fits. Place them in the best area.

Beginner Folders: No concept of anatomy or structure. Haphazardly colors their works. We have a few examples in those folders already to show you what I mean.

Intermediate: Beginning to understand anatomy and their own style. Colors and shading are more improved than beginners.

Professional: Knowledgable of anatomy, their style, lighting, shading, etc. Something that has obviously taken considerable amount of time making.

In the case of 3D modeling art:
- It should be placed in digital sections (as of now).
- The closer it looks to professional promotional art, then obviously it will be placed between Intermediate or Professional depending on your own thoughts.

If you want to be a contributor, you need to at least make one personal drawing every week on your own DA account, or you must make a journal or comment every couple days. That shows you are active. If you are not active on DA for two weeks, you will be terminated as a contributor, since I *NEED* help.

Thanks for checking this.
Hello members,

First off, this group is active, even if I don't post a journal all the time! So don't worry! Me or DravidFeryl will accept your art once we see it in our messages.

Secondly, I would like to note something since this was brought up. Just because our admins choose to place your art in a lower skill level folder, that doesn't mean your art is bad. This means you have some improving to do and we want to showcase your art and how your art grows as you grow.

I have put my art in intermediate and will be continuing to do so as I grow and learn. I hardly think my art should stand next to some of our more professional artists as I know I have room to grow.

So please do not be discouraged that your art was rejected and added to another folder. We are just wanting to show that you have room to grow and would like to see you grow to the levels of others.

I'm not good with words, so I am hoping you understand and are not offended. I just want everyone to be happy.

Sincerely,

-- Izagar

Edit: An important note: I've disabled members from adding into the Featured Art area. Please post your art in the proper sections. It is up to group admins to determine what gets into Featured Art. Okay? ^^
I am a big fan of the Legend of Zelda series and was the former founder of :iconfans-of-zelda:. I decided to revive the group under a new name and new management. However, since I am busy myself, I will need the help of a couple of admins to approve new deviations, which will be posted once a week from each member. I would like you to approve deviations and make sure they go to the proper group, "Beginner", "Intermediate", and "Professional".

I am also looking for members! We do not discriminate and deny you because your art isn't as good as another artists. We separate it between your skill level, which is determined by the admins. We have "Beginners", who are for people who just started picking up a pencil or tablet pen to make art. We have "Intermediate", people who have drawn for long time and have a good grasp on lighting and anatomy. Finally we have "Professional" which is for people who spend a long time on their artist and have a mastery over their chosen field.

So have fun and please consider joining the group and giving your best. If you have questions about where to upload your art, just post an example and we'll judge your skill so you know where to post it. :)
